  　　On May 12th, a powerful earthquake took place in southwest China. It almost destroyed Sichuan.
  
  　　More than 80,000 people lost their lives. As a middle student in Beijing, I have done lots of things for it.
  
  　　First, I raised some money for them. I believe a hundred yuan is nothing, but millions of hundred means much. Meanwhile, I gave away some books that I didn’t read. I think these can make their live more colorful. Also, I made some cards with encouraging words. I hope those can cheer them up.
  
  　　We all know that disasters have no emotions, but we humans do. I believe unity is strength.. Let’s make an effort to contribute our love to the victims and help them rebuild their hometown.
