  As an only son in the family, I am the best favourite in the eyes of my parents and my grand parents. Most of our peers are single child in their familes in China. Our parents treat us like pearls and gold so that we learn to get whatever we want from our parents.
  
  People criticize that we Chinese teenages are too dependent on our parents. It is true that we are too young to be hired as an employee. That's why we cannot live by being independent！ However, it doesn't mean that we are not independent. For example, being one of the high graders in my school, I have earned scholarships to cover most of my own tuitions. Don't ask me how much my tuitions are. You don't wanna know. Simply, not many parents can afford them in China. I can afford most of my tuitions by myself. Nevertheless, my parents and teachers are very proud of me due to my excellent academic performance！
  
  Many teachers complain that their students are not independent at all. I want to ask these teachers, "What do you mean by that we are not independent？" As a junior 3 student, I have great opportunities to study in the best schools in China. My well-to-do parents pay out all expensive living expenses for me. It seems that there are many gaps among my peers. I don't feel happy all the time, although I have everything I want. As a teen, I have my personal laptop, my bmw car, girlfriends, and my personal bank accounts. I am one of the richest kids in China. Some of my peers from outside of my school said to me, "Vicky, you are nothing！ Everything you have is belong to your rich parents." So what？ There is nothing wrong to have rich parents, is it？
  
  I believe that our society looks upon wealth, knowledge and friendships. What is my emotional state？ I can tell you straight. I don't like to go to school at all. I wanna make a lot of money like my parents do. I wanna be rich quickly. I wanna have fame and power. After I grow up, I wanna be a successful Chinese！
